Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, each DJ carries an extra laptop, power amplifier, CD player,
lighting, speakers and even a spare medium-sized system (just in case of any equipment failure).

Can we give you CDs and select the songs we want played?
Yes, meeting before-hand to go over your song-list/play-list seems to work well, and also helps us a great
deal with making sure your agenda/program is executed smoothly
and on time.

Can we leave the song selection up to your discretion and just give you a rough idea
on the genre of music we'd like to have played [mellow jazz during dinner, disco & funk for dancing]?
Yes, and in most cases, it makes the song selecting much easier.

Can you help us with keeping to our schedule?
DEFINITELY! That's what we're here for! We realize that a big part of our job is helping to coordinate a
well-executed program and keep it flowing in a smooth and pleasant manner.
Moreover, we strive to make sure that your program is on time. We'll make important announcements and
introductions as well as keep your photographer and/or
videographer informed as to what happens next.

We
went to a friend's wedding recently and the DJ was doing fine in
the beginning. Then, when people started to dance and jump
around a little bit, the CD's began to skip. We're concerned
about that.
Party Jammer's sound systems utilize brand new, state of the art components. Our dual CD players have a 20-second anti-shock memory built in -- the music never stops!
The heart of our mixing system is no longer heavy, complicated, or huge. It is no larger than our high powered, dependable laptop computer with MP3 Digital DJ mixing
software combined with the dual CD mixer.
We also use
professional UHF wireless
microphones. They can be put on a stand or passed to a guest on the other side of the room
with ease!

Will your DJ be loud and talk a lot?
Our professional DJs are specially trained to be courteous, friendly, and
as low-key as you wish for them to be. This approach seems to work best for wedding receptions and other formal affairs. For
"high-octane" affairs, our Party Jammers know how to turn up the heat
and get your crowd pumped-up!

What do you mean by lighting?
We recommend a modest lighting set-up for all occasions. As an example, just four medium-sized spotlights and a multi-beam effect can play a vital role in getting a party started, and will add color and excitement to any occasion. Lights can be turned off, or even dimmed, if the situation warrants it. Our professionally trained
DJs know when to use the effects, and most importantly, when not to use them.
The lighting can
also be enhanced by the use of a fog machine (however this is at
the sole discretion of the venue in accordance to its "house
rules" and fire regulations).

What will the DJ wear?
You can decide, if you'd like. The three choices would be:
Casual [but nice]
Semi-formal [dress shirt & tie]
Formal [suit & tie]

What about a disco/mirror ball, confetti, streamers, fog machines, etc.?
We do, on many occasions use these effects, but only if the venue/facility
allows it (due to fire restrictions) and if you wish to have
these special touches for your event. Otherwise, they are always
available to add to your event with no additional costs
associated. You can let us know whether this is something you'd like to have.

Do you have an LCD projector and screen we can use for a
slideshow presentation?
DEFINITELY! We have a brand new state-of-the-art InFocus
X1 LCD Projector at a proud 1100 max ANSI lumens of visual
power! And if you should require it, we can obtain three
screen sizes for you to choose from depending on the space
available at your venue (6'x6', 7'x7' and 8'x8').

We have tons of pictures for a slideshow presentation. Can
Party Jammer produce a custom slideshow for me and scan my
pictures?
ABSOLUTELY! To add visual aesthetics to your event, we
specialize in the design and implementation of your very own
personalized slideshow presentations!
Just provide us the pictures and we'll take care of the rest
with the graphics, music and special touches! When your event
is done, we'll provide you with the slideshow and music on CD as
a cherished keepsake!
